A 10 de Outubro de 1911 tinha início a revolução que iria terminar com a dinastia Qing (o imperador Pu Yi só viria a abdicar em Fevereiro de 1912) e dar início à primeira República na China e da qual Sun Iat-Sen seria o primeiro presidente.
