A-Ma Temple - Built five centuries ago and dedicated to the Goddess of Seafarers, the Temple of A-Ma provided the city of Macau with its name. Recognized for its half-moon gate and carving of a fishing junk on a bolder near the entrance, the A-Ma Temple attracts thousands of worshippers from every walk of life, but it still belongs in a special way to Macau's fishermen and boat people.
